Colby's Stanley Visits Kenya, Africa

Kenya is a country in eastern Africa. The capital of Kenya is Nairobi.

Stanley is visiting Colby's Uncle Marc and Aunt Amy in Kenya. They write:

Hello Class,

     Stanley had quite a trip to Kenya. The day he arrived, lions escaped from the Nairobi National Park and were roaming the streets. Stanley stuck his head out of the car window to take a picture and got scratched!

     We had fun with Stanley. He traveled a lot. From Maine to Florida is 1,409 miles. 

 From Florida to Kenya is 7,976 miles. The total is 16,449 miles!

     Stanley saw lots of animals including lions, giraffes, and elephants. Today it is 95°, much hotter than Maine! But soon it will be summer in Maine and you'll be swimming.
