Mykensey's Flat Stanley visits Tennessee

Stanley is visiting Bedford County in Tennessee including the town of Shelbyville.
 
Many Civil War battles were fought in Tennessee. Only Virginia saw more battles.
 
There is a lot to see and do in Tennessee. You can go to the RC Cola and Moonpie Festival and also visit the Cheese Barn.
The Duck River features a lot of wildlife and great fishing and boating.


Tennessee is famous for wonderful music and musicians!

Blake's Flat Stanley Visits
 Boston, Massachusetts

Boston is the capital of Massachusetts. The United States of America has its roots in Boston.

 Stanley visited Fenway Park. Go Red Sox!

 Stanley enjoyed the Museum of Fine Arts.

A statue of George Washington on horseback stands at the entrance to the Public Garden. This large park was established in 1837.
 The tulips are almost blooming!

 Do you know the story of Make Way for Ducklings? It is set in Boston! These statues show Mama and the baby ducklings in the Public Garden. They are wearing their Easter bonnets!
 The Massachusetts State House is the center of government. The dome on the roof is covered with gold leaf!
 Stanley is outside TD Garden. The Celtics and the Bruins play here!

Stanley is in front of Faneuil Hall. It has been a meeting place since 1743. Independence from Britain was planned in this building.
Lucas' Flat Stanley Visits
Arizona
Arizona is a southwestern state that borders Mexico. The capital is Phoenix. Arizona is famous for the Grand Canyon.

Flat Stanley is enjoying the hot sunny weather. Look at the amazing Saguaro cactuses.

 Stanley is taking a dip in the swimming pool. He is happy to see the Patriot's logo as a little reminder of home!

Zack's Flat Stanley Visits Detroit, Michigan
Stanley is visiting Zack's cousins in Detroit. Wow! They are busy people!

 Detroit is the largest city in Michigan. Its nickname is "Motor City" because there were many car factories in Detroit.

 The view of the city is amazing from cousin Jessica's office.


Stanley is enjoying The Riverwalk on the Detroit River.
 
Stanley had a lot of fun night bowling.
Stanley was very excited to attend the Michigan Dance Challenge. He was sorry he couldn't participate but he had no flat partner!
Stanley could not decide who the best dancers were. He thought they were all great!
Stanley got in a little volleyball action. These players take their volleyball pretty seriously!
Another great view from the Winter Garden Atrium. Stanley is not at all afraid of heights. After all, he was a kite for a little while!
Piper's Flat Stanley Visited
 Salt Lake City, Utah
Stanley is visiting Piper's grandma LaVon. He is seeing some wonderful sights!

Salt lake City is the capital of Utah. It gets its name from the large lake that is six times more salty than the oceans of the world. You won't sink in Great Salt Lake!

 There is a lot to see and do in Salt Lake City and the surrounding area!

 There are many wonderful places to ski nearby.

Antelope Island is located in the middle of Great Salt Lake. You can hike, bike, or go horseback riding. It is a great place for observing wildlife!
Anna's Flat Stanley Visited
 Littleton, Colorado

Littleton is just a few miles south of Denver, Colorado in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.




Wow! What a cold, snowy scene. Put your hat on, Stanley!
Stanley has really flipped for Colorado! 

Stanley is enjoying these interesting rock formations.

 Now Stanley is a flat rootin' tootin' cowboy!
He's heading to the Colorado Music Hall of Fame.

Southern California!

Stanley visited Huntington Beach with Karen and Miles. Looks like another beautiful day!
Stanley loves a day at the beach. Hope he is wearing some sunscreen!

What a great place for a bike ride. Those Palm Trees are amazing!

This might be a good bike for Stanley, if that parrot will give it up!
