Texas is the second biggest state in the United States.

It is called the Lone Star State.

Stanley is riding Chicoboy, an American painted quarter horse.

Bert's Flat Stanley is Visiting Waltham, Massachusetts

Flat Stanley is visiting the Barry's in Waltham, MA. There is a lot of snow there, just like Maine!

Stanley ate some delicious toasted ravioli at this popular restaurant.

Stanley visited Stonehurst. It used to be someone's estate but now it is a park.

Stonehurst once belonged to Robert Paine and his family. Now people can rent it for weddings and parties.

Stanley visited Bentley University and saw the college students coming and going on campus.

 

 

 

Ethan's Flat Stanley is Visiting Arbutus, Maryland

Ethan's Stanley is visiting Grammie Ruth. Grammie is retired now but she used to work in a bank. One of her jobs was to shred the old money!

Stanley went to visit the firehouse with Ethan's Uncle Brian.  He is a volunteer firefighter. That is an important job!

Stanley really liked this helmet! He would like one in his size!

The firefighters take very good care of all the equipment, including this shiny firetruck.

This vehicle can get into some places that a big truck can't go. Stanley wants to drive!

Stanley is ready to help with a water rescue in this inflatable boat.

Faith's Flat Stanley Travels to El Salvador and Guatemala

Faith's Flat Stanley visited the U.S. Embassy in San Salvador, El Salvador. These two Marines help keep America safe.

El Salvador is in Central America. Next, Stanley will be going to Guatemala.

Stanley is flying to Guatemala. It sure is better than traveling in an envelope!

Stanley is visiting the city of Antigua in Guatemala. It was founded in the early 16th century.

Stanley stayed at the Hotel Santo Domingo. It was once a monastery that was partially destroyed in an earthquake in 1773. Part of the hotel is a museum that displays treasures from the past.

Casey's Stanley Explores New York City

Casey's Flat Stanley has been visiting Aunt Jaime in New York. Jaime is an artist and a fashion designer. They went to visit the Garment District in Manhattan.

Stanley is being greeted by an employee of the store Mood. It is a famous store where fashion designers buy their fabrics and supplies. Stanley thinks he may want to learn to sew!

Stanley went to see Cooper Union. It is a famous college for studying science and art.

Stanley went to a Broadway musical. The stage was amazing, and so was the music.

Jack's Flat Stanley is Visiting Virginia

Stanley is visiting Jack's cousin Jaden in Virginia. They are at an antique shop. There are some interesting old things here.

Did Stanley arrive in Virginia at this post office?

Did you notice that Jaden is wearing shorts in Virginia and we  are still wearing snowpants in Maine?

Stanley is learning about the history of Waterford, Virginia. They have found interesting old tools and household items on this farm.

Wheat that was grown on local farms was ground into flour at mills in Waterford for more than 200 years.

Stanley visited this train station in Point of Rocks, Maryland. It was built in 1873.

Leesburg is a historic town in Virginia..

Matthew's Stanley Visits  Walled Lake, Michigan

Flat Stanley is visiting Matthew's Aunt Beth and Uncle John in Walled Lake Michigan.

 Stanley  found out that Michigan is shaped like a mitten.

Walled Lake is at the base of the thumb!

Stanley is playing with Matthew's cousin Roxie. Matthew and Roxie don't look that much alike but they both have cute smiles!

Stanley is staying with Aunt Beth and Uncle John. Don't get too close to the fire, Stanley!

Flat Stanley is outside the University of Michigan's football stadium.

Stanley got his picture taken with Superman at the University of Michigan Children's Hospital. Now Stanley wants a cape!

Flat Stanley is going for a ride in Uncle John's Corvette with Aunt Beth and cousin Roxie.

Stanley is taking Roxie for a walk. They are great friends!
